MDR is called "Atlantik" (#54)
It occupies Decks 3 and 4 between engines uptakes (the white area behind the aft staircase on deck plans) and the Galley.
TUI Cruises pioneered what later would become known as "Dynamic Dining" on Royal Caribbean cruise ships.
Main Dining Room is split in separate sections that offer different cuisine with no set dining times and no formal nights.
Three sections of Mein Schiff 3 MDR "Atlantik" offer Classic (deck 3), Pan-Asian (Deck 4 Port side) and Mediterranean (Deck 4 Starboard) cuisine.
MDR on Mein Schiff is a carbon copy of Celebrity Solstice MDR by location.
But it represents an exploding improvement by design.
Mein Schiff designers added one more deck to the restaurant height.
Deck 5 (Murano Restaurant and Michael's club location on Celebrity) is open in the middle thus creating a spectacular three decks high space for MDR.
Deck 5 above MDR is "Schau Bar".
